Le potager du Roi

10, rue du Maréchal Joffre, 78000 VERSAILLES

Le Potager du Roi (or Vegetable Garden of the King) was built between 1678 and 1683 by Jean-Baptiste La Quintinie, at the request of Louis XIV. Open to the public, it houses the National School of Landscape. Classified as a historic monument and remarkable garden, its gardeners perpetuate the art of pruning and cultivate a wide variety of fruits and vegetables in a French garden. The kitchen garden shop sells the products of the vegetable garden from the producer.

Angelina - Versailles

château de Versailles et Petit Trianon, 78000 VERSAILLES

The queens and kings of France delighted in their hot chocolate! In the tradition, succumb to the famous hot chocolate and Mont Blanc that make the reputation of this house. Our favorite is Paris-New York. The atmosphere a bit outdated makes this tea room all its charm.

Place du marché Notre-Dame

2, rue Baillet Reviron, 78000 VERSAILLES

This market, created more than 300 years ago by Louis XIV, is located in the heart of Notre Dame district, in Versailles. Still dynamic today, many restaurants and shops have settled in the neighborhood.
